May has been a rainy month in Wyoming! It's not often we get to say that, but we sure enjoy it when we can. A late snow mid-May made for a stunning scene with snow on the dark, timbered mountains contrasting with the bright blue sky and early spring grass.

Coming Home!
After a long - but good - day of showing properties to prospective buyers, its always good to see the beautiful Big Horn Mountains. They were called the "Shining Mountains" by the Native Americans for the bright snow-capped peaks along the 70 mile mountain range. Yesterday I had the good fortune to travel through the Esterbrook area south of Douglas, WY. I love the Laramie Range and need to spend a lot more time in those mountains. The country suits me and I'm quite sure it does many others.

"Area 7" is known as a trophy elk hunt area in Wyoming. Centered around Laramie Peak, this eastern-WY mountain range is great area in which to own a private, big-game hunting ranch. It's raining in Wyoming... well, we've a few snow flurries right at the moment. But it's moisture and we've had a good bunch of it the last week.
