Access from Shell is via Hwy 14 to the Ranger Creek Station then traveling ~15 miles on Forest Service Road 17. The Medicine Lodge Lake Campground (~11 miles from the property) lies at 9,300’ on the shore of the 65-acre Upper Medicine Lodge Lake and offers basic services as well as access to the Lower Medicine Lodge Lake and the Paint Rock Lakes.

The Mill Creek Mountain Range is currently used as a summer pasture for horses that are used on high mountain grazing allotments. The live water and hard grass make this a low-worry horse pasture. The terrain consists of open range land intermingled with patches of timber at an elevation that ranges from about 8,450’ to 8,660’.
This is a very scenic property with several ideal sites where one could build a cabin or park a camper trailer. At present, there are no buildings or improvements on the property. The east end of this property borders the Bighorn National Forest giving direct access to thousands of acres of national forest lands and limitless recreational opportunities.
